By phone, email, or in person, please tell them you are asking that the Council NOT consider SEDA until there is a rehearing by the Planning Commission.
Why? At the August 19 Planning Commission meeting, Planning staff misled the Planning Commission into failing to do its job in two ways:
1. Staff told the Commissioners they could not decide whether SEDA will really support itself - though that was the Commission's job.
2. Staff claimed Fresno prohibits data centers. The truth is, THERE ARE NO PROTECTIONS AGAINST DATA CENTERS.
So, the Planning Commission needs to re-hear SEDA before the City Council considers it.
